“My property has got a damp problem….”
“The tenant is not heating and ventilating properly.”

These are some common examples of the conflict issues tenants, managing agents, and landlords face when presented with a ‘damp problem’ in a rented property.

It can be a really grey area but thankfully help is at hand after the release of some new guides produced by Ridgewater Energy in partnership with BCP Council aimed at helping landlords and tenants understand what they can do to alleviate issues such as condensation.

In our latest video we were joined by Peter Bywater from Ridgewater Energy to discuss how what landlords can do to help when their tenants report condensation, and offer tips on how they can avoid these problems.
In the video we discuss –
*The best ways to ventilate a property.
*Common areas of improvement.
*What’s better – an extractor fan or a window?
