In a challenging market, we are keen to be able to offer sellers the best ways of getting your property seen and are delighted to be launching a brand new service by partnering with Optimus Bid, giving us the platform to offer properties for sale using a modern bidding method on our own website.

One of the biggest advantages to sellers is that there are no agency fees to pay, which may enable you to set a lower guide 'price' making your property visible as well as putting it in an attractive position to encourage bids from people who may not have otherwise considered it.

The service enables sellers to set the timeframes from the outset and sell in a secure and transparent manner, whilst maximising the price you achieve for your property.

Buyers are provided a legal pack from the outset enabling them to make an informed decision about their purchase.

How it works -

• You can set either a reserve price (and market with a guide price within 10%), or ‘Buy It Now’ function.
• The auction dates are set to open the bidding. The platform enables buyers to see the highest bid so the transaction is totally transparent.
• If the reserve is met, the bidding continues to get you the best price up to when the auction window ends.
• The buyer pays a non-refundable reservation fee at the point of sale agreed to secure the sale. This commits the buyer reducing the likelihood of the sale falling through.
